3D Thursday

First I have to tell you I won the Starving Artists blog candy I posted on Sunday. Yay!!! Very exciting this morning.

Today I altered an old bath set gift tin to hold my devotions and Bible study books. It started like this:

Not awful, but not really that cute, either. I like it much better now:
I covered it with DCWV paper in chocolate and pink, then wrapped a pink ribbon around it. The front has a quote stamp from Unity 'live the life you love' with a Unity medallion stamped in the middle.

I stamped in cocoa on pink, then cut out the circle. I had some coasters that were the perfect size for a frame. I adhered chocolate paper to a coaster, trimmed it, and ran the cocoa ink around the raw edge of the coaster. A gauzy Prima and rhinestone in the center, done.

And here it is on my nightstand with books:

Thanks for looking!

Today I'm grateful for: blog candy!, my son did very well at basketball tryouts tonight, Hershey's, adhesive with rotating head for circles, and my flat iron
