Tuesday Tyler Challenge

Tyler challenged me to use punches and Devon allowed me to use his crimper.

I'm not sure I like it. I like the 'idea' of it, but I think this version's too dark and drab although not quite as bad in person as the picture. Ty likes the 'soft paper', so he likes the card. The colors photographed beige, but the circles are really buttery yellow and the flocking on the dp is pale yellow. The scallops are on pop dots, so there is a lot of texture and dimension here.

Thanks for looking!

Today I'm grateful for: story time at the library, leaving with a very heavy bag of books, kids who love to read, tea parties with the kids, sending the 3 year old to bed and walking in the room to see this:

Stamps: none
Paper: all from DCWV La Creme stack
Extras: Scallop punch, circle punches, crimper, SU Filigree brads, ColorBok metallic word

  1. Looks like a god guy card. And love the pic of Em reading in bed.

  2. Love the picture of Em!! Perfect!! YOU NEED TO SCRAP IT!! Laura and my stepdaughter both blame me for their love of books and reading... I take comfort in knowing if nothing else, I did one thing right with them!! I remind myself of that every time the kid wants a BAM gift card for Christmas or her birthday!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.
