Graduation

We have a graduation/going away party this weekend. The young lady is my husband's uncle's wife's niece. Not sure what that makes her to me, but I think she's terrific anyway. Maybe that just makes her a friend.

Graduation Box

My husband's cousin is a 2009 Graduate, so a gift is in order. As the 'traditional' gift is money for college, I wanted a better way to present it than just handing him a check. I made a little box about 2"x3".
The diploma is Jolee's Boutique and was the perfect size. The dp and star printed vellum are from Hobby Lobby.

Inside the top cover is one of my favorite quotes for graduation cards.

The cash was rolled up in the bottom. This particular grad is an avid hunter, so this seemed fitting for him:
